Bed was very comfy. Got in around 1am and house keeping was knocking on the door before 10am, didn't like that. Plus the shower curtain had mold all over it and the wall was coming apart. The staff was very friendly though.
Stayed at Econo Lodge Cedar Rapids South for a weekend getaway. The room was clean, the bed was super comfy, and the staff greeted me with a smile. The location made it easy to get around town without any hassle. Would definitely stay here again next time I am in Cedar Rapids.
Honestly, the best hotel in the area for the money. Love chatting with the staff. Clean rooms and everything worked great. Stayed 3 weeks while working on the road. Would stay again.

This hotel is wonderful. It is a basic no frills place. My #1 priority is cleanliness and this hotel was exceptional. Comfy beds, soft towels, sink outside of shower/toilet room which is so convenient when you want to fix hair and makeup and the other person can still shower, etc. It had a fridge and microwave. Desk folks were friendly. Breakfast is hotel norm - waffles, toast, cereal, pastries, juices hot beverages. No eggs or bacon/sausage. I was very impressed and have it filed in my notes for the next time else travel through Cedar Rapids, IA
